audio Resource: The Listener's Commentary

I want to share a great resource for your ongoing Bible study and deeper understanding.

The Listener's Commentary is a podcast that walks through New Testament books in short (20-30 minute) chunks and provides commentary to help us understand what's going on in these scriptures.

I just discovered this resources and listened to several 'episodes,' including especially passages that I think we commonly misunderstand.  The speaker, who is a pastor with a Ph.D, does a great job explaining these texts, in my opinion.  You can check out his personal website HERE.   

If you are preparing a lesson or message, this is a great time saving resource to give you a good sense of the passage.  It's also a great resource for just understanding a section of Scripture that you might not understand well.

One great aspect is that he really knows Greek well and explores the aspects of how that bears on our understanding of the text.
